Do you agree with the writer?

I agree with the writer because I think also that on the road to fluency, no shame, no gain. When I went to England this summer, I felt that so much. I am shy so the first a few days, I couldn' t speak to host family a lot. But the action was not meaningful, I feel now. For Japanese in particular, people who feel that English is my weak point, speaking English is very difficult. And then, they think that if I take mistakes, I humiliate myself. Some Japanese feel that thaking mistakes and feeling shame are bad. So we don't speak other languages for not taking mistakes. However this thought is not right. Taking mistakes are natural because we are not native English speaker. And English speaker know that. So they are not oblivious of our mistakes than we think. Rather they think mistakes are good to master English. I was said that don't fear to take mistakes and you take new things. Learnig English, shame is the worst block than not having knowledge. So not fearing to take mistakes and humiliating mself, you will gain something that is very important for fluency.

Difference of men and womwn

I think that men and women write in different style to each other. If I look at e-mail (not knowing who it is from), I can tell if it is from man or woman. Because how to write is different. When man writes e-mail, there is the words of man and when woman also writes e-mail, there is the words of woman. For example, men use when they appeal to agree, ''dara?'' in Japan. On the other hand, women use when they do that, ''desyo?'' in Janan. So I think that I will tell. There are also different that women use a lot of ''emozi'' and men write e-mail short. However recently a lot of women use the words of man and many men write e-mail long, so I may think that I can tell not always.

Have you eaten in a foreign restaurant?

I have eaten in a foreign restaurant, and I made a mistake. When I was child, I went to French restaurant with my family. Then there were a lot of knives and forks, so I didn't know which knife and fork I should use first. And then, I tried to use from the first inside knife and fork, but my mother taught me that I made a mistake. Now I know the turn for using knives and forks. We should use knives and forks from outside.
